How do I pay for a therapist?
Today, many insurance plans will cover some form of Mental Health Therapy. If for some reason you can’t afford therapy, we will gladly discuss arrangements.
What insurance do you accept?
Fancher Psychology & Assessment, LLC is an in-network provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois PPO.
We are also an out-of-network provider with most other insurance plans and provide documentation to clients should they wish to submit for reimbursement by their insurance carrier.
What should I expect on my first visit?
Your first visit is a time to gather information; from you, and from us. Feel free to ask us anything you feel like. This is the time to interview your therapist.

We use this time to learn about your past, and prepare for the future. A few sessions might be needed before we can assess your situation and determine the best approach. The goal at the beginning is to make sure you and your therapist work well together.
What makes therapy successful?
Therapy is different from the typical doctor/patient relationship. There is no quick fix for life. Therapy is a commitment to reframe your situation in a new light, and engage problematic issues. Our use of scientifically researched interventions will help to ensure your receive the best care possible.
What about confidentiality?
Fancher Psychology & Assessment, LLC keeps all patient information confidential unless required by law to disclose. These instances are rare and reasonable. Please visit our privacy page for a full disclosure regarding your health information.
